Wash

Like shampoos for humans, some equine shampoos are formulated to address specific skin issues, enhance colours and add optical brighteners. Because many horses have allergies, it’s wise to perform a “patch test” on a small area of your horse’s skin before washing his entire body with a new shampoo. If their skin remains reaction-free after a day, proceed as usual

Detangle

As a finishing touch consider using a leave-in equine conditioner/detangler or coat polish. These products moisturise and strengthen your horse's hair and neutralise static electricity which results in a high shine after brushing. Also works to repel dust, dirt, and sand and will help eliminate tangles and knots while providing additional conditioning benefits

Plait
